The volume of the inside and pocket areas of the StrongBags Vortex 23 Flight Crew Bag is approximately 2,254 cubic inches, expandable to 3,220 cubic inches when pockets are full and expanded.

Skin / Outer Material
- Replaceable skin. If this skin wears out, just replaceg the skin. No need to buy a whole new bag.
- Waterproof material - 2120D Cordura Ballistic Nylon. This material is more tear and abrasive resistant than just ordinary ballistic nylon.
Frame
- 6061 Aircraft-grade aluminum panels assembled together with stainless steel rivets with reinforced bolts on overlaps.
- No external screws or metal pieces (except for the protective metal corner brackets).
- 5 aluminum panels are the "skeleton" that makes this bag lighter, and stronger than the competition.
- Two protective exterior metal corner pieces covering the top corners of the back of the pilot roller bag.
