The volume of the inside area of the StrongBags Vortex 21" Flight Crew Bag with Wheels is approximately 2058 cubic inches. StrongBags adds a little space because the front cover is pleated to allow for over packing.

Skin / Outer Material
- Replaceable skin. If this skin wears out, just replaceg the skin. No need to buy a whole new bag.
- Waterproof material - 2120D Cordura Ballistic Nylon. This material is more tear and abrasive resistant than just ordinary ballistic nylon.
Frame
- 6061 Aircraft-grade aluminum panels assembled together with stainless steel rivets with reinforced bolts on overlaps.
- No external screws or metal pieces (except for the protective metal corner brackets).
- 5 aluminum panels are the "skeleton" that makes this bag lighter, and stronger than the competition.
- Two protective exterior metal corner pieces covering the top corners of the back of the pilot roller bag.
