Carrara is Serengeti's updated and improved Medium Aviator. They took their classic Medium Aviator eye and improved the frame design adding a more contemporary temple with a hidden double flex spring hinge for a wider fit range.

Drivers Gradient Lenses: Great for eye-protection + crystal clear viewing. The Drivers Gradient is gently lightened from the top of the lens to the bottom, and it is also photochromic – it adjusts to changing light conditions. Great for shielding the sun from above and allowing a clear view to instruments below.

Serengeti’s mineral lenses are made with borosilicate optical glass, from Corning.® A full 20% thinner and lighter, their Borosilicate mineral glass lenses are finer than any other lens. Produced in the same process normally reserved for ophthalmic-quality corrective lenses, they provide the best visual acuity.

Every pair of Serengeti® mineral lenses is unique: each Photochromic lens passes through a Hydrogen-fueled Lehr furnace, which activates the Spectral Control® technology - with varying temperatures that determine the proprietary lens hue.

They are also chemically tempered to ensure scratch and impact resistance.

To complete this unrivalled visual experience, an anti-reflective coating is added to the backside of the lens, canceling the scattering light that causes reflective glare.
