The MG-20 Music Adapter for G.A. Headsets allows you to interface your portable music device with a General Aviation headset.
This will allow music to be heard only through the individual Headset it is connected to. It will not go into the panel for all of the passengers to hear.
This unit does not have amplification. Volume is determined through your music device.
Ideally, this device just reduces the volume of the radio traffic by a small amount. However, depending on the music device and the aircraft’s intercom system it may reduce it more. This is due to competing impedance issues.
